Ramadan Kareem!
We welcome the most awaited month of the Islamic calendar, Ramadan, the blessed month in which the Qur’an was revealed as guidance for humanity. During these 29/30 days, Muslims fast from dawn to sunset, refraining from food and drink, seeking Allah’s mercy, forgiveness, and nearness.
✅ FIRST DAY OF RAMADAN: THURSDAY (Insha Allah)
The Ramadan crescent was not sighted anywhere in North America. Therefore, Thursday will be the first day of Ramadan, Insha Allah.
🕌 First Taraweeh Prayer
We will hold our first Taraweeh tomorrow evening after ‘Isha, InshaAllah.
يٰٓاَيُّهَا الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا كُتِبَ عَلَيْكُمُ الصِّيَامُ كَمَا كُتِبَ عَلَى الَّذِيْنَ مِنْ قَبْلِكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَتَّقُوْنَۙ ١٨٣
“O you who believe! Fasting has been prescribed for you as it was prescribed to those before you, so that you may attain taqwa (piety).”
(Qur’an, 2:183)
Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) reported that the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said:
“Every action of the son of Adam is multiplied—a good action by ten times its value, up to seven hundred times. Allah says: With the exception of fasting, which belongs to Me, and I reward it accordingly. For he abandons his desire and food for My sake. There are two occasions of joy for the fasting person: one when he breaks his fast, and the other when he meets his Lord. And the breath of the fasting person is more fragrant to Allah than the fragrance of musk.”

May Allah accept our fasting, prayers, Qur’an recitation, and du‘a, and make this Ramadan a source of mercy, unity, and renewal for our community. 🤲🏽

If we truly wish to see our masjid grow to meet the needs of our expanding community—with a new school for our children, a larger and more comfortable prayer space for our sisters, and many essential updates—it must be a collective responsibility, not the burden of a few. These blessings are for everyone who contributes, regardless of the amount. This is not a time for spectatorship—it is a time for sincere action. Let’s all rise together to support this house of Allah!
Bathroom, wudu, and ghusl stations are available.
Brothers use main entrance. Sisters use first outside door on the left.
Do not park in any non-designated spaces. Violatiors will be ticketed/towed.
Handicap parking for handicap decal or license plate owners only.
Teach your children to respect the House of Allah and the prayer.
The most important call is the call to prayer. Silence your phone.
